
Founder and CEO
Eric R. Calderon founded TXE in 2013 and currently leads the firm’s daily operations. Previously, Mr. Calderon worked as the Vice President of Western Energy and Support Technology (WEST), which acquired his initial search fund company, LK Industries, in 2018. Mr. Calderon started his career as a petroleum engineer in the Permian Basin and, in 2012, had the privilege of working for House Speaker John Boehner on energy policy and legislation. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Eric serves on the Board of Directors for Integrity Bank and currently serves as Chairman of the Harvard Business School Club of Houston. To further his passion for education, Mr. Calderon is active on the Interview Board for Harvard Business School and previously served as Chairman of YES Prep Public Schools.

Technical Services Director
Laura Bonjonia has worked in the environmental industry since 1996 and currently serves as the Technical Services Director for L-K Services. In this role, she specializes in regulatory compliance reporting and consulting for water and wastewater systems, helping utilities navigate complex reporting requirements and maintain compliance with state regulations.
Prior to joining L-K Services, Laura spent 29 years with Envirodyne Laboratories, where she held a variety of leadership roles, most recently serving as President. During her tenure, she oversaw the operations of a full-service NELAP-accredited environmental laboratory that provided analytical services to municipal water and wastewater utilities across Texas.
Laura holds a Class B Wastewater Operator License and a Class C Water Operator License in the state of Texas. She is actively involved in the water utility community, having served as President of the Laboratory Analysts Section of the Texas Water Utilities Association and currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Sam Houston Water Utilities Association.

Accounting Manager
Born and raised in the Houston area, Cody graduated from Sam Houston in 2010 with his Master of Science in Accounting and got his CPA license shortly thereafter. Most of his career has been based around the oil and gas / energy industry. Cody was brought on to be the Accounting Manager and assist in the transition of all the TXE subsidiaries onto one unified and modern ERP system to streamline efficiency and financial reporting.

Manager of Strategic Growth
A native Houstonian and lifelong entrepreneur, Champ has always had a passion for small business. After earning degrees in Operations and Business Management, he built his business acumen consulting for Ernst & Young, where he specialized in mitigating enterprise-level risk, implementing operational best practices, and positioning clients for sustainable success. Initially working with TXE in a consulting capacity, Champ led efforts to reorient business strategy and optimize operations for one of the firm’s portfolio companies. Now, as Manager of Strategic Growth, he continues to drive performance and scalability for portfolio companies while also identifying and pursuing acquisition targets. Champ is actively involved in the Houston community. He leads the Young Professionals group for the M&A Forum, volunteers in career services at Covenant House Texas, and organizes alumni engagement efforts for his high school, Strake Jesuit, and alma mater, Georgetown University.

Executive Administrator
Leticia joined TXE Partners in 2024 as the Executive Administrator, where she provides support to the Founder and Managing Director and the company’s full executive suite. Prior to joining TXE Capital, she worked for the Houston Rockets for 20 years as the Executive Assistant to the CEO/President of Business Operations as well as the department managing overall Basketball Operations.

Marketing Manager
With a degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Jordyn has built a strong foundation in the field and has developed a diverse skill set over the course of her career. Before joining TXE Capital, Jordyn honed her marketing skills in the pet industry, helping manage marketing efforts for over 20 pet resorts nationwide. Her experience in this sector has given her a deep appreciation for the immediate and transformative impact that effective marketing can have on a business’s success.
